So last week on the subway, a really cute, athletic looking 30 year old decided to flirt with me for the duration of the ride. We had a great conversation and he was lovely even after I told him that I was married and had a baby. We talked about enviromental choices, food and the fact that he wants kids "but not for seven or eight years yet". He was lovely.
Which led me to think "What the heck am I doing here flirting with this very eligible guy?" I have all of these amazing women friends who can't find the right guys anywhere. Why can't my cell phone have a "teleport a friend" option? So I could just select a friend and teleport them into the subway to meet this guy. "Here's my friend Seraphina, she wants kids and likes to cook..., No, ok... Here's Geraldina, she bikes to work to help the environment" and so on, until I found him (and my friends) the right match.
I think that I'll call Rogers and ask them to come up with a friend teleporter.

Of Clothes and Other things
Here's some pics of recent new clothes. Adara wore a gorgeous pink cotton/linen dress for Mother's Day that Grammy and Poppa got for her. She looked really sweet and managed to go an entire eight hours without getting it at all dirty. (by the by, anyone else noticed that I managed to dress my sweet baby for mothers day brunch, but I'm basically in sweats and jeans? Oh well, I figured that she needed to look cute in case she decided to be a hellion at the restaurant)
Here she is also in a hat that I got her. Diva indeed; she's been absolutely crazy all day today. She has all four of her eye teeth coming in (one already through) and apparently this entitles one to be nasty and unreasonable all day, but also very cuddly and needy. An odd combo
Last up on the clothes, is my opening night dress, chosen by my fabulous friend Heather in about 10 minutes flat after I'd looked for several hours already. I loved this dress and shoes and they held up from 5pm until 2 am with very little pain. Plus the whole darn thing cost a total of $60 including shoes. So, of course I had to get the deep purple (eggplant) manicure and pedicure to go with. Oh yeah, and Len looks pretty slick too! Mom and Dad came to opening and they also had snazzy new leather jackets, that I unfortunately did not capture on film.

Show Opening
Tuesdays With Morrie (my biggest show to date) opens on Tuesday. Life has been pretty crazy work wise. I had 13 hour days on Thursday and Friday. Last night was our first preview with a full audience in the house and our automation systems broke, stalling the show for 20 minutes in the middle. Annoying and anxiety inducing. I'm more then a little overdone. Adara was so happy today because both Len and I were home and there was thunderstorms all day so we did a whole lot of nothing. It was very good for all of us. In other news Adara is now singing her ABC's up to 'L" and singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" in it's entirety. Clearly a genius. :)
