My Weekend Away

IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!! I finally got my relaxing weekend away, no one got sick, nothing got cancelled. Jenn and I headed to Kingston so that we could see Julia and Rafa and Diego as well as having some down time. We stayed in a lovely waterfront downtown hotel with pool and hot tub and all, and were very happy! We spent an entire day on Saturday shopping, wandering in and out of stores at will and being completely unconcerned about if anyone was getting hungry or needed a nap. It was glorious!
We stopped in a beautiful tea shop and had a lovely pot of chocolate chai tea and a raspberry scone with clotted cream and fresh jam. So good! Each morning we had a swim and hot tub and a leisurely breakfast before starting the day.
We also spent some time at Julia's, dinner on Friday and breakfast on Sunday. Diego was gorgeous, he's gotten very expressive and interactive all of the sudden. Julia was putting up a new gazebo which Jenn and Rafa were helping with. Conveniently, I suck at putting stuff together and all of my friends know it, so my default position was holding the baby. Oh too bad, so sad! :)

Easter pics

Here's some pics of Adara at home in Goderich for Easter. We were up in the square doing the easter egg hunt. Adara had fun finding the eggs but absolutely despised the chocolate. She actually went so far as to wipe her tongue off and wipe her hands on my jeans to get the taste out of her mouth! Super Silly! The picture with her basket on her head was her all her, we didn't pose her!
